Question: As a retailer looking to outfit their staff with correct PPE when stores reopen in order to keep them safe. Is there a particular grade of mask recommended such as FFP2 or FFP3?
At this moment in time we should wait for guidance from UK Government as to whether Masks will be required for non work related activities and to what specification will be required.
Question: We are currently working on ‘Returning to work’ documentation for our workforce. Our American H&S team has put together some protocols to follow and has categorised ‘protective screens/ partitions’ as PPE. As screens are not worn or held we are keen to re- categorise as a ‘barrier’, what are your thoughts please?
A barrier does not meet the description of PPE as listed in the PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425
