Question: Is there a list of approved Chinese manufacturers?
No, as mentioned there are tens of thousands of Manufacturers in China set up since the end of March alone. This is why it is vital that anyone bringing product in to the UK/EU needs to be checking the products comply with the relevant legislation
Question: Has the BSIF created a library of known fake documents to save wasted time in verifying documentation provided by potential vendors?
No, however we are reporting any that are not compliant to the relevant market policing authorities
Question: We are looking for a ‘ready reckoner’ summary for face mask types for civil use which shows type of masks available + certification requirements. I have a lot of info from different sources and with a lot of face ‘coverings’ coming into the market with no certs or DoC, we are now trying to compile for employers what to ask for to ensure they buy relevant to the expected protected – does such a thing exist anywhere?
Civil Use is not a reference detailed in the PPE Regulation. For RPE in the EU/UK it must comply with either EN 149:2001+A1:2009 or the requirements set out through (EU) 2020/403 for PPE providing protection against Covid19 exposure

Question: Do you have a list of standards for various PPE testing?
There are a multitude of Standards covering PPE. Bsi (British Standards Institute) are the National Standards Body (NSB) for Standards in the UK and may be able to provide further guidance
